Your player has two LED lights. The left LED shows your internet connection status, and the right LED shows if music is playing.

Business as usual
Trying to connect
When you plug in the player and it's connecting to the internet, the left LED turns orange.

Connected
When the player connects, the left LED turns green.

Music is playing
When the music is playing, the right LED shows a solid green light.
💡 Pro tip: Music will continue to play offline for up to 30 days even if you lose internet connection.

No sound
If the right LED slowly flashes green, it shows that music is paused, no music is assigned, or the volume is set to zero.
Potential issues
Zone not ready
The right LED flashes orange if the player isn't paired to a zone or if the zone doesn't have an active plan.
Connection failed
The left LED flashes orange if your player can't connect to the internet via the Ethernet cable.
Steps to take:
- Check both ends of the Ethernet cable are plugged in.
- Check the router status and make sure it has an IP address via the router's own admin interface.
- If you're using a static IP, check you've followed the setup instructions.
- Check your network (router or switch) to make sure the player can reach the local gateway.
- Check the firewall settings are compatible.
No power
When both LEDs are off, check the power cable is plugged in.

Recovery
When the left LED is solid orange and the right LED is solid red, don't unplug any cables, just wait for the player to reconnect.

Hardware failure
When both LEDs are flashing red, your player is probably broken. Need more help? Contact support@soundtrack.io
