Check you have a Soundtrack Location for each Sonos system
For each Sonos system, you'll need to connect to a unique location in Soundtrack. If you've added different zones under one location but have multiple Sonos systems, contact support@soundtrack.io for help.
Reconnect the Location to Sonos
- Log in to your account and click 'Locations'.
- Click the Sonos button next to the location name.
- Click 'disconnect'.
- Open the Sonos app and add Soundtrack.
- Follow the steps.
Check there are available zones
When pairing a Sonos system to a location, we’ll automatically find the best zone to play from for the Sonos groups. All available zones in Soundtrack will show the status of 'no device paired'.
If you need to make a zone available for a Sonos group, you need to unpair any devices from that zone.
- Go to 'locations'.
- Click the zone you want to use.
- Click 'switch device'.
- Click 'unpair'.
- Select the Sonos speaker you want to use in the Sonos app.
- Choose Soundtrack as the service.
Check the firewall requirements
Make sure the settings are correct.
