We offer two levels of Music Control—Essential and Unlimited—to ensure you have the right tools for your business. Because we are currently introducing a more flexible way to manage your music, your account will look like one of the two options below.
Which version do I have?
Starting from the 27th of April 2026, we began rolling out the ability to mix and match control levels:
Zone-based control: If you see the option to select a plan for each individual zone (e.g., Bar, Lobby, Terrace), you have our newest flexible setup.
Account-wide control: If your selection applies to all your zones at once, you are on our classic setup. 💡All accounts will be updated to the flexible version later this year.
⬆️ Upgrade to Unlimited
Unlimited Music Control is our most complete option. It's designed for zones where you want to play songs in an exact order, queue tracks on the fly, or build your own custom playlists.
- Log in to your account.
- Click the name of your company in the top-right corner.
- Click 'Company settings' in the drop-down menu and then on subscription.
- To make the change, click 'Upgrade to Unlimited'.
- You'll have access to Unlimited Music Control right away. Your next invoice will include a prorated charge to cover the price difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
⬇️ Downgrade to Essential
Essential Music Control is a great choice for zones where you want a high-quality atmosphere with minimal management. Essential uses Smart Shuffle to keep your playback varied.
- Log in to your account.
- Click the name of your company in the top-right corner.
- Click 'Company settings' in the drop-down menu and then on subscription.
- Click + Change to Essential to make the change.
- Scroll down and click 'Schedule change'.

Changes to Essential will take effect on your next billing date. You will keep your Unlimited access until the end of your current paid period.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Smart Shuffle? Smart Shuffle makes your music stays fresh and licensed by occasionally mixing in similar tracks that match your chosen style. If you use very large playlists (over 70 tracks), you might not even notice it's there.
I’m using a Starter plan—can I switch? If you are on a Starter plan, you can continue using it exactly as you do today. We will be helping all Starter users move over to our flexible zone-based setup later in 2026. If you're curious about it now, feel free to reach out to Support.
Can I mix Essential and Unlimited? If your account has been updated to the new setup (released to some trial users starting the 27th of April), yes! You can have Unlimited in the areas where you need total control and Essential in the background areas.
