How to update audio quality settings

Zone

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Locations’.
3. Click the zone you want to adjust.

4. Click ‘Settings’. The zone is set to stream Standard (96 kbit/s) by default. Choose from:

   Low: 64 kbit/s (saves mobile data, best for unreliable connections and stores more songs)
   Standard: 96 kbit/s (matches Spotify's default bitrate on mobile players)
   High: 160 kbit/s (matches Spotify's default bitrate on desktop)
    

Company settings

Edit the default settings applied when a new zone is created.

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click the drop-down menu in the top-right corner.
3. Click ‘Company settings’.
4. Under ‘New Zone Defaults’, scroll down to ‘Playback’.
5. Click ‘Settings’. The zone is set to stream Standard (96 kbit/s) by default. Choose from:
   
   Low: 64 kbit/s (saves mobile data, best for unreliable connections and stores more songs)
   Standard: 96 kbit/s (matches Spotify's default bitrate on mobile players)
   High: 160 kbit/s (matches Spotify's default bitrate on desktop)
    

Bulk actions

Edit the audio settings for all zones at once using the Actions button on the Zones page.

1. Set the default audio quality zone setting (see above).
2. Click ‘Locations’ and select the zones you want to update.
   
3. Apply default presets and choose ‘Download audio quality’.
