Hi-Fi allows you to stream music at 320 kbps, a significant upgrade from our standard bitrate options (32kbps, 96kbps, and 160kbps).
💡 Hi-Fi works with all our Supported devices - except Sonos. Playback on Sonos devices supports a maximum of 96kbps.
How to set up Hi-Fi
To get started, you first need to activate the Hi-Fi add-on for your account. Here's how:
- Log in here to your Soundtrack account.
- Click on this link to access the "Soundtrack Hi-Fi" page.
- Click "Try for free" and follow the prompts to activate the add-on for your account.
How to enable high fidelity in your zones
Once the add-on is activated, the 320 kbps quality option becomes available in your zone settings. You can control this for each zone individually based on your local network conditions and audio equipment.
- Go to your Locations view.
- Select the specific zone you want to update.
- In the zone settings, locate the Audio quality.
- Select the option "Highest" (320 kbps).
- Enjoy the premium sound quality!
Pricing

What is the difference in audio quality? Standard playback offers bitrates of 32kbps, 96kbps, and 160kbps. Hi-Fi unlocks the ability to stream at 320kbps for a richer, detailed listening experience.
Why can't I use Hi-Fi with my Sonos speakers? At this time, playing Soundtrack through Sonos supports a maximum bitrate of 96kbps, so the 320kbps Hi-Fi stream is not compatible.
