Play and manage music directly from your browser. The Web player is the fastest way to get started and is available on most browsers. Google Chrome is the recommended choice.
💡 The Web player is a great way to get started quickly, but for a more stable music experience, we recommend downloading our app or choosing our dedicated Soundtrack Player.Â
How to get started:
- Open your browser and log in to your Soundtrack account.
- Go to 'Locations'.
- Click the zone you want to play from.Â
-
Pair your device:
New users: Your browser is automatically paired when you sign in.
Active users: If your zone is already paired to another playback device, you'll need to unpair it first.Â
Click 'Switch device', then 'Unpair'. Your zone is now ready to be paired to your Browser.Â
Select 'Web Player'.
Click 'Pair to this browser'.Â
Connect your computer to your sound system or speakers.Â
Start the music: If you are on a Trial, remember to 'press play' to start your first session.
Learn your way around the player
The web player is similar to our desktop app, making it easy to see what’s playing and how to manage your music.Â
- Single tab limit: Music can only play from one browser tab. If you open a second tab, you will see a "Playing from another tab" error message, and the music will stop playing in your current tab.
- Keep it active: If the browser tab is reloaded or if the browser "sleeps" due to many open tabs, the music will pause. The best solution is to download our dedicated app.
- Offline playback: The web player doesn’t support offline play as it needs a constant internet connection.
-
Please note that crossfade, Hi-Fi and certain advanced audio settings aren’t supported in the Web player.

Troubleshooting
- Need more stability? For the best experience, we recommend our app or our dedicated Soundtrack Player.
- Music paused? Check if the tab has reloaded or if you have Soundtrack open in another window.
- Connection issues? Your browser tab might be paused due to too many open tabs. The best solution is to download our app or use the dedicated Soundtrack Player.
