Play and manage music directly from your browser. The web player is the fastest way to get started and is available on most browsers. Google Chrome is the recommended choice.
💡 While the web player is great for a quick start, we recommend downloading our app or choosing our dedicated Soundtrack Player for a more stable music experience.Â
How to get started:
- Open a browser. Google Chrome is the recommended choice.
- Log in to your account.
- Click 'locations'.
- Click the zone you want to play from.Â
-
Connect your device.
New users: Your browser is automatically connected when you sign in.
Active users: If your zone is already connected to another playback device, you'll need to disconnect it first.Â
- Click 'Switch device', then 'Disconnect'. Your zone is now ready to be connected to your Browser.Â
- Click 'Web Player'.
- Click 'Connect to this browser'.Â
- Connect your computer to your sound system or speakers.Â
- Start the music: If you are on a Trial, remember to 'press play' to start your first session.
Learn your way around the player
The web player is similar to our desktop app, making it easy to see what’s playing and manage your music. Choose between two viewing modes:
Mini-player
The mini-player is located at the bottom of the screen where you can manage shuffle settings, music playback and skip songs. You can also check what zone and device are connected, the upcoming songs, adjust volume and toggle into full-screen mode. If you have an Unlimited plan, you can scrobble to any point in the song.
Full-screen
The full-screen mode fills your display with album art and controls to manage playback, adjust volume, check device connections, and view your upcoming songs queue. If you have an Unlimited plan, you can scrobble to any point in the song.Â

Important features and limitations
- Single tab limit: Music can only play from one browser tab. If you open a second tab, you will see a "Playing from another tab" message, and the music might stop playing in your current tab.
- Keep it active: If the browser tab is reloaded or if the browser "sleeps" due to many open tabs, the music will pause. The best solution is to download our dedicated app.
-
Offline playback: The web player doesn’t support offline play as it needs a constant internet connection.

Troubleshooting
- Need more stability? For the best experience, we recommend our app or our dedicated Soundtrack Player.
- Music paused? Check if the tab has reloaded or if you have Soundtrack open in another window.
- Connection issues? Your browser tab might be paused due to too many open tabs. The best solution is to download our app or use the dedicated Soundtrack Player.
