Your Soundtrack plan includes the recording and publishing rights you need to stream music. However, in most countries you also need public performance licenses to play music in a public environment. Find out what’s needed in your country.
In the United States, public performance licenses from ASCAP, BMI and GMR are included with Soundtrack. In Canada, licenses from SOCAN and Re:Sound are included. There are some exceptions in both countries if you charge admission fees, play live music or run instructed exercise classes.
In the United Kingdom, public performance licenses from PRS for Music and PPL aren’t included. You get both through TheMusicLicence.
